How to Choose the Right Label Style

Woven

Our woven labels are durable, soft and they won’t fade.  They are made from 100% polyester threads. We have matte and satin-like finish threads.

Woven labels are ideal for purses, pants, t-shirts, and baby cloths.  Our woven label pricing includes up to 5 thread colors. So if you have multiple colors and you are looking for a good price, woven is the way to go.

Printed

You can do printed on satin or printed on 100% cotton.

Why would someone choose printed over woven labels?  Well, if your product is 100% cotton and you also want your label to be the same material, then you can do 100% cotton labels.  If you are making clothing for infants and you want the label very soft,  then printed on satin is a good choice.  Generally speaking, printed labels are economical when you print 1 color on white satin.  Also, printed on white satin is what many people use for their care/content and country of origin labels.

Folds

Choose a straight cut/flat label when you are going to sew the label on your product and you will sew all the way around the label.

Choose a label with 0.25” end folds on the left and right sides when you are sewing all the way around the label or just on the sides.

Choose a center fold label when you are going to sew into the seam of your product.

Choose a mitre fold when you will sew into the back of the neck of a shirt or robe and you want the customer to be able to use the label as a hook.  They can hang up the garment using the label.

Choose roll form or woven tape when you want to cut the labels to the size you need yourself.  We will make sure there is plenty of room between each label/logo so when you cut the label you can fold the frayed ends back behind the label.
